With less than a week to go until the start of the season, Roma are still incomplete in some areas of the pitch.
While they’re closing in on Sancho and Bailey up front, the Giallorossi are looking for a transfer opportunity to strengthen the midfield, which this summer saw only the arrival of El Aynoaui.

As reported by Tuttomercatoweb, Roma are following Monza’s Matteo Pessina.
The Monza captain is coming off a poor season and has missed 26 games due to injury.
However, the player is highly regarded by Gasperini, who had him for three seasons in Bergamo, and could arrive for less than €10 million.
The Giallorossi are considering a deal, a loan with an option or obligation to buy.
