Matteo Darmian To Start For Inter In Serie A Clash With Atalanta, Italian Media Report
SempreInter.Com
Matteo Darmian is set to to be handed the start on the right ahead of Denzel Dumfries for Inter in this evening’s Serie A clash with Atalanta.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who include the 32-year-old in their predicted starting eleven for the match and also predict that Alexis Sanchez will start alongside Edin Dzeko in attack.
Dumfries has started the Nerazzuri’s past two matches, in Serie A against Lazio and then the Supercoppa Italiana win over Juventus during the week.
However, it looks likely that the Dutchman will drop to the bench in favour of Darmian, who has not started a match since he missed a few matches through a thigh injury picked up during the Nerazzurri’s win over Venezia.
Meanwhile, Hakan Calhanoglu will likely return to the starting following the one-match suspension which kept him out of the win over the Biancocelesti on Sunday in Serie A.
