Wolves star Matt Doherty is desperate to complete the season as Wolves are on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League.
Wolves are just two points behind Manchester United for fifth place with just nine games to play, which could see them playing football at Europe’s highest level next season.
“I want to finish because we have a possible chance of the Champions League,” Doherty told the Daily Star.
“Manchester City have been banned, for now, so fifth place could get you Champions League football.
“I suspect we will play Chelsea in the last game of the season so we have a lot to play for.
“We have all sorts of possibilities so I really want to finish as it was looking like it would be a really exciting end to the season.
“I know there will be no fans but this is our job – what we have dreamed of as kids – so why wouldn’t we want to get back out there?”
This season, the 28-year-old has starred at right-back once again, scoring seven goals and adding a trio of assists in 39 games in all competitions.
