Mats Hummels wants to ‘seize the opportunity’ against PSG | OneFootball

Borussia Dortmund are just one game away from reaching their first Champions League final since 2013. It was a sorry ending for Mats Hummels and his teammates back then, but now Die Schwarzgelben have an excellent opportunity to upset the odds when they face Paris Saint-Germain tonight, with Dortmund holding a 1-0 lead.

“Back then, I still believed that I would see these games more often,” Hummels told reporters. For Hummels, it’s only his third ever European semi-final. “This shows that these situations cannot be taken for granted, that you should enjoy them but also seize the opportunity.”

Niclas Füllkrug scored the goal to give Borussia Dortmund an important 1-0 lead at the Westfalenstadion last week, but they know they’ll face a difficult task at the Parc des Princes tonight.

With 10 changes for Dortmund’s 5-1 win against Augsburg at the weekend and the return of Sébastien Haller to training, Edin Terzić has a full strength squad available for tonight’s game, but expect BVB to name an unchanged XI from the team that beat PSG one week ago.
