Inter midfielder Matias Vecino is currently not considering the prospect of a move away from the club according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The Uruguayan national team player has been linked with a potential move to Torino with the media claiming a swap deal involving Granata defender Armando Izzo could take place. This report states that there has been no contact, at least in a direct manner, between Torino and Vecino’s representatives.

Vecino, who is currently out on the sidelines as he recovers from surgery on his knee, does not want to consider a move away right now as he wants to try and get himself back into the Inter team.

If the club and Antonio Conte opt to put him on the transfer list only then will he consider a departure from the Nerazzurri club.

A move to Torino in January may be difficult given that his current salary is higher than Torino’s salary cap. The repot goes on to add that an eye must be kept on Sevilla due to the fact their sporting director Monchi is an admirer of Vecino, who has also been linked with a host of Premier League clubs in his career.

Roma could also become an option for Vecino in the event that Maurizio Sarri takes charge of the Giallorossi side.
