With Rodri suspended following his red card in last week’s win over Nottingham Forest, Mateo Kovačic starts for City in the holding role, with former Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes lining up alongside him.

City will also be without manager Pep Guardiola, who is serving a one-match touchline ban after picking up his third yellow card of the season in midweek.
