The Brazilian has signed a five-year contract until 2027

Udinese Calcio is delighted to announce the signing of Matheus Martins on a permanent deal from Fluminense.

The 19-year-old has penned a five-year contract with the club and has been loaned to Watford FC until the end of the season.

Matheus Martins was born on 16 July 2003 in Campo Grande, Brazil.

A wide forward blessed with exceptional pace and technique, he is capable of operating anywhere across the front line.

He came through the Fluminense academy before breaking into the first team, where he made 37 league appearances and scored three goals. He also played seven matches in the Copa do Brasil and netted a hat-trick in his only Copa Sudamericana appearance, against Oriente Petrolero on 27 May 2022

At international level, Martins has represented Brazil U16s, U18s and U20s.
