Colombian midfielder Mateus Uribe has been largely responsible for generating a heated off-the-pitch atmosphere throughout the week prior to the pair of 2-0 América victories over rivals Chivas.

On his Twitter, Uribe posted: “Another victory. We go step by step.”

Now look closely at the photo in the bottom right corner, you can see Uribe egging on the Chivas supporters even more.

With the victories, América are now in the Copa MX semi-finals where they’ll take on Xolos in early April.

They’ve also risen to fourth place in Liga MX while Chivas has fallen to 11th.
