Inter’s next three matches played over nine days will have a decisive impact on the future of coach Simone Inzaghi.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the club feel that it’s increasingly now or never for a turnaround amid the chaos of a poor start to the season.

Inzaghi has been backed by Inter despite the fact that he has guided the team to four defeats from eight in Serie A, and five defeats from ten in all competitions, to start the season.

The club’s patience with the 46-year-old is not infinite, however.

Tomorrow’s Champions League group stage clash with Barcelona will kick off yet another breathless cycle of matches in a compressed period of time.

Over the weekend, the Nerazzurri will face Sassuolo in the league, and then they must face the Blaugranas again next week.

The club are not expecting perfection from these matches, particularly in view of the injury crisis that is only worsening as the season goes on.

However, the team cannot keep slumping to defeat, and so these three matches look to be massive ones for Inzaghi’s Inter future.
