Brentford Under-21s return to the pitch against Hull City Under-21s on Tuesday night (7pm kick-off), away from home.

The Professional Development League (PDL) clash will be the young Bees’ fourth in the league, their first since a 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic on 3 September.

Venturing to the Dransfield Stadium, Neil MacFarlane’s side will be eyeing win number two in the competition.

About Hull City U21s

Hull City play in the north group of the PDL and currently sit third in the table with two wins and three losses.

Following a 6-0 defeat to Charlton at the end of August, the young Tigers have reeled off two league wins in a row: defeating QPR 3-1 and Ipswich 2-0, while losing their opening Premier League Cup clash to Leicester City 1-0.

Noah Wandsworth and Nathan Tinsdale each found the back of the net in Hull's most recent win and will be players that MacFarlane’s side will be keeping an eye on come Tuesday night.

Last time out

The west Londoners travelled to Kingsmeadow at the weekend to face Chelsea U21s in the Premier League Cup, falling to a 6-3 defeat.

The game was Brentford’s first of this season’s PL Cup campaign, a competition that will see them face Derby County and AFC Bournemouth in the group stage.

Last time out in the PDL, MacFarlane’s side drew 1-1 with Wigan Athletic, midfielder Beaux Booth finding the back of the net for the first time this season.
