Brentford B take on Exeter City Under-21s away from home in the Premier League Cup round of 16 on Thursday evening (7pm kick-off GMT).

The young Bees face a tough test at St James Park against a Grecians side who were one of just three to be undefeated in the group stage of the competition.

Neil MacFarlane's side have been in impressive form, winning seven of their last 10 in all competitions and scoring 25 goals across that period.

Premier League Cup so far

Brentford B finished second in Group I after winning three, drawing one and losing two of their six outings.

An impressive draw against Chelsea ensured that the young Bees finished a point above Derby County in the standings and progressed to the round of 16.

Last time out in the PL Cup

Kyreece Lisbie, who joined Colchester United on a permanent deal just a matter of days later, scored a brace as Brentford B drew 2-2 against Chelsea in late January.

A first-half strike from Ato Ampah and late Sam Rak-Sakyi header denied the Bees all three points.
