Celtic kicked off their pre-season tour of the United States with a 4-0 victory over MLS side, DC United at the weekend.

Matt O'Riley netted twice in the first-half, while Mikey Johnston and James Forrest scored after the break.

And there was also a first appearance for new Bhoy, Viljami Sinisalo, with the Finnish goalkeeper playing the second 45 minutes of the match at Audi Field, Washington DC.

BATTLE OF THE CHAMPIONS

Next up for Celtic on their US Tour is a game against English Premier League champions, Manchester City, this Tuesday night at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The game kicks off at 7pm local time (Tuesday midnight, Celtic Park time) and it’s LIVE and EXCLUSIVE on Celtic TV.

Finishing up the pre-season matches on Saturday, July 27 is a game against Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea at Notre Dame Stadium, Indiana.

It will be the second meeting of the sides on American soil, with the only previous encounter in Seattle during Celtic’s tour of America back in 2004.
