The first part of Sampdoria’s preparation during the league break ended with a match against Primavera. On the upper field of “Mugnaini” in Bogliasco, Andrea Pirlo’s blucerchiati defeated Matteo Pastorino’s team 3-0: Fabio Borini opened the scoring in the second half, followed by a brace from Águstin Álvarez, who scored in the second and third 30-minute periods. Ebrima Darboe also featured (only in the first half-hour) along with Estanislau Pedrola, who replaced Álvarez in the last twenty minutes of the game.

Resumption. Leonardo Benedetti and Fabio Depaoli did not participate in the match against the young blucerchiati; they instead underwent individual programs on the field and scheduled recovery work, respectively. Andrea Conti, Cristiano Piccini, and Matteo Ricci continued their recovery paths, while Sebastiano Esposito underwent therapies and physiotherapy. At the end of the training session, the coach granted the team two and a half days of rest. The resumption is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon when the preparation for the match against Ternana (scheduled at the “Ferraris” on Monday, April 1st at 20:30 CET) begins.
