Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi has insisted he is "not wasting energy on outside noise" amid renewed speculation about a January transfer to the Premier League.
Liverpool came close to signing Zubimendi during the summer, only for the Spain international to ultimately reject the chance to move to Anfield.
Speculation of a move to Liverpool in January has continued, while Arsenal have since been touted as suitors and Manchester City have even been tipped to join the race after losing Rodri to what is likely to be a season-ending ACL injury.
Zubimendi, however, has stressed he is not paying any attention to the constant stream of reports about his future.
"There will always be rumours and now that January is approaching, there will be too, but I don't waste energy on outside noise," he told the media.
"I'm happy with the way I'm handling it and I'm going to handle it."
Fabrizio Romano recently confirmed that Liverpool manager Arne Slot remains a huge fan of Zubimendi but is not alone in his admiration for the Spain international, with no less than two other managers also keen - Arsenal's Mikel Arteta and Xabi Alonso of Bayer Leverkusen.
Alonso's own future is up in the air amid reports he could leave Leverkusen next summer. Real Madrid and Man City continue to be linked with the former midfielder's services.
