The 36-year-old initially joined Newcastle United on loan in January 2018 and made the switch permanent that summer after an impressive start to life in the Premier League.

Dúbravka made a memorable debut for the Magpies against Manchester United in February 2018, keeping a clean sheet and earning Player of the Match in a 1-0 victory at St. James' Park.

Throughout his time with the club, the Slovakian international made 179 appearances in all competitions and kept 51 clean sheets.

Dúbravka played a key role in last season's Carabao Cup triumph, making four appearances and keeping three clean sheets, including in each leg of the semi-final victory over Arsenal.

He also featured 10 times during the last Premier League campaign, keeping five clean sheets to help the club achieve UEFA Champions League qualification.
