Martin Atkinson has been announced as the man with the whistle as Manchester City travel up to the North East to face Newcastle United on Sunday (covid permitting), with kick-off at 14:00 GMT.
Since Pep Guardiola joined the Blues they have an excellent record when Atkinson has refereed - winning twelve, drawing four and losing two.
The last time the 50-year-old was in charge of a City game was back in October when Guardiola's side beat Burnley 2-0 at home.
He's officiated a few memorable games, too, such as when City blew a 2-0 lead against United at home in 2018 and Kevin De Bruyne put the only goal of the game past Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 2017.
The two losses are the previously mentioned United defeat and away at Wolves in 2019.
