Adrien Rabiot’s (30) career at Olympique de Marseille is over. Following a bust-up with Jonathan Rowe following OM’s defeat to Stade Rennais on Friday, both he and the Englishman were suspended, and the club then later announced that they had been transfer-listed.

Rowe is now nearing a move to Serie A side Bologna. For Rabiot, the situation is more vague. He won’t play for Marseille again, as has been made clear by all parties, however, he has yet to find a new club. OM value the France international at €15m, and he is of interest to several clubs in Italy, including Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter Milan.

When he was a free agent last summer, following the expiry of his deal at Juventus, Rabiot was linked with a move to AS Monaco. At a press conference attended by Get French Football News, Monaco CEO Thiago Scuro was asked about the possibility of signing the midfielder.

His response was unequivocal. “No. We have never discussed it,” said Scuro.
