Marseille will be hoping to recover from their disappointing start to the season as they welcome Paris FC to the Stade Vélodrome on the second matchday in Ligue 1. Les Phocéens suffered a late defeat at the hands of ten-man Rennes on the opening round of the new season.
L’Équipe reports that Roberto De Zerbi is set to make three changes to his side that lost 1-0 to Les Rouges et Noir. A formation change is set to see Ulisses Garcia replace the departing Jonathan Rowe at left-back. The change in formation will also see Geoffrey Kondogbia drop out of the side – he is set to miss out due to injury.
Further forward, Robinio Vaz is set to benefit and should be awarded his first start on the left flank. Leading the line, Amine Gouiri is set to be joined by the returning Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who will also make his first start since returning to Marseille.
Gerónimo Rulli – Michael Murillo, CJ Egan-Riley, Leonardo Balerdi, Ulisses Garcia – Mason Greenwood, Angel Gomes, Pierre-Emile Højberg, Robinio Vaz – Amine Gouiri, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
