Marseille predicted XI v Nice: Chancel Mbemba out, Jonathan Clauss could return | OneFootball

Whilst Olympique de Marseille could welcome Jonathan Clauss back to the fold for the first time since mid-March, the injury crisis that has engulfed the club shows little sign of significantly abating.

Chancel Mbemba, who has played through the pain with a knee issue, has been added to the injury list. He will play no part against OGC Nice on Wednesday evening. He joins Bamo Meïté, Bilal Nadir, Valentin Rongier and Ismaïla Sarr on the sidelines. It had been hoped that the latter would be fit enough to return to the bench but that will not be the case.

Clauss, however, could play a role. He has been involved in first-team training with Marseille this week and will likely earn a place on the bench.
