Olympique de Marseille are faced with a swathe of absentees as they prepare to face AS Monaco on Saturday, with Gennaro Gattuso’s options heavily limited.

Chancel Mbemba, Pape Gueye, Amine Harit, Azzedine Ounahi, Faris Moumbagna, Iliman Ndiaye and Ismaïla Sarr are all still competing in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). However, there are also fresh injury concerns and suspensions for Gattuso to contend with against Les Monégasques.

Samuel Gigot misses out through suspension, Bilal Nadir has suffered a season-ending ACL injury, and he is also joined on the sidelines by Micheal Murillo. Valentin Rongier is still sidelined, whilst François Mughe is still barred for competing for administrative reasons. OM have completed the signing of Quentin Merlin, but not in time for him to be registered against Monaco.
