Olympique de Marseille will likely remain largely unchanged to the side that drew against FC Metz (2-2) last weekend. Geoffrey Kondogbia, who started last week, is absent.
Kondogbia will be out for multiple weeks after sustaining a sprain to his left knee. He will likely be replaced by Jordan Veretout in the Marseille midfield. Mattéo Guendouzi is another option that Marcelino has at his disposal, even if the France international is strongly linked with a departure from the club before the end of the transfer window.
The other question mark revolves around the defence. Leandro Balerdi and Samuel Gigot are in competition for a place alongside Chancel Mbemba at the heart of Les Phocéens’ defence. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Iliman Ndiaye are both set to retain their starting positions up front.
Pau López; Ronan Lodi, Leandro Balerdi, Chancel Mbemba, Jontahan Clauss; Amine Harit, Jordan Veretout, Valentin Rongier, Ismaila Sarr; Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Iliman Ndiaye.
