Marseille have reportedly ended their pursuit of Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham after the Scottish giants quoted an asking price of €18m.
The French side, now under the guidance of Andre Villas-Boas, have been long-term admirers of the 23-year-old and had made an approach earlier this month.
But now stories in the Daily Record and sport.fr have claimed that the Ligue 1 side have told Celtic that they will look at other targets after the Bhoys quoted €18m for the youngster.
Marseille are under pressure from Financial Fair Play regulations and must sell before they can buy this summer.
Ntcham struggled for minutes last season after suffering a knee injury in January.
