Marseille coach AVB has Lopez warning amid Spurs, West Ham contact

Olympique Marseille coach Andre Villas-Boas has warned Maxime Lopez he's not guaranteed of regular action this season.

Lopez has been linked with a move to England, where Tottenham and West Ham have been offered the midfielder.

AVB stated: "All the players who are here, I am counting on them.

"I'm not looking for the transfer window. We have several players at the end of their contract. Discussions are starting to extend them. Max knows what he has to do to start. He wasn't lucky in this midfield position but I'm counting on him. He is a player in the workforce.

"We have not yet started discussions with him for the extension."
