Marseille agree personal terms with Edon Zhegrova | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Olympique de Marseille have reached an agreement on personal terms with Edon Zhegrova (26).

The Lille OSC winger has agreed to a contract that will tie him to Les Phocéens until 2030. Marseille have faced competition for his signature from Juventus, who have been keen for the Kosovan international to reunite with his former Lille teammate Jonathan David (25) in the North of Italy.

However, Foot Mercato writes that Zhegrova has chosen Marseille over their Italian counterparts. The French outlet have reported previously that the winger was keen on the move to Roberto De Zerbi’s side, who are now in need of an additional forward following Jonathan Rowe’s (22) exit to Bologna.

Marseille edge closer to Edon Zhegrova signing

All that is left for Marseille to do is to strike an agreement with Lille. The winger has only one year left on his contract, but Les Dogues are expected to ask for around €15-20m. Marseille have previously been reported to want to structure the deal around a loan with an obligation to buy.
