According to a report by Foot Mercato, Olympique de Marseille have found a total agreement on personal terms with Freiburg’s right-back Killian Sildillia (22), and are set to open talks with the Bundesliga outfit.

Marseille’s transfer business is accelerating in the last few days, as Roberto De Zerbi’s side is determined to have a squad ready for the start of the season in three weeks. While Les Phocéens are still on the market for a goalkeeper and are close to sealing the arrival of Inter Milan’s attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni (19), a new right-back is needed following Jonathan Clauss’ (31) transfer to OGC Nice. Marseille have set their sights on Sildillia, who has been one of France’s revelations so far during the Olympics, most notably scoring the only goal during Les Bleus’ victory against Guinea. A regular starter with Freiburg, which he joined back in 2020 from Metz, Sildillia could return to Ligue 1 in the next few weeks.
