Mario Balotelli is on the move once again. At 34, the Italian striker is set to join the 13th club of his career—this time, in Spain.

After a virtually blank season with Genoa, Balotelli looks poised to make a comeback... in Spain’s third division. According to Iberian media, his agent is currently in talks with Real Murcia, a storied club that was relegated three years ago due to financial issues but has since climbed back up to the third tier. It’s a surprising gamble for Balotelli, whose contract with Genoa expires on June 30.

The Italian failed to make a significant impact this season: six matches, zero goals, two yellow cards... and a spell on the sidelines under Patrick Vieira, his former coach at Nice, with whom his relationship has remained tense. This potential transfer would mark "Super Mario’s" first experience in Spain, after stints in Italy, England, France, Switzerland, and Turkey.
