Leicester City are set to assess Wout Faes ahead of their Championship showdown with West Brom.

The Belgium international was withdrawn during a 1-1 draw for Enzo Maresca’s side against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek with a dead leg.

Ahead of Saturday’s trip at the Hawthorns, the Foxes manager confirmed that a late call will be made on Faes’ fitness for the Midlands derby clash.

“We had a session this morning and he didn’t work,” said Maresca.

“We’ll see if that improves for tomorrow and we’ll take a final decision, but this morning he didn’t work with us.

“The rest are okay. Just Callum Doyle [is out].”

Leicester can consolidate their return to the Championship’s summit, where they lead Ipswich Town by a point, with a win over the Baggies.
