Marcus Rashford continued his electric form in Manchester United’s FA Cup clash with Everton on Friday evening.

Rashford had scored in four consecutive games going into the match at Old Trafford.

And he made it five goals in five games as he helped his side to a 3-1 victory over the Toffees.

Rashford assisted Antony’s goal in the fourth minute.

The Englishman skipped past Ben Godfrey inside the box and sent a devilish low cross to Antony, who tapped him at the back post.

Rashford got on the scoresheet when he notched United’s third in stoppage-time.

United were given a penalty in the 97th minute when Godfrey took down Alejandro Garnacho inside the box.

Rashford stepped up and sent Jordan Pickford – his international teammate – the wrong way and ensured United’s passage to the fourth round.

Rashford may well be the most in-form player in the Premier League right now.

Casemiro sung his teammates praises and admitted he was ‘surprised’ by Rashford when he joined the club.

“I’m gonna be very honest with you; I was really surprised with the player Rashford is,” he told ESPN Brazil.

“In my opinion, especially knowing the player off the pitch, I can tell you that if he’s doing well, he can be one of the top five players in the world. He has an incredible way of hitting the ball, he’s got strength, he’s quick, is very clever playing.

“He was one of the players that really surprised me. Of course, when you play in a different league you already know the player, but when you’re in the same club every day.

“What a spectacular player. I’m enjoying so much playing with him. He gives us a lot of energy. I’m delighted to play with him.

“And I’m sure if he stays like this, with the conditions he has, he can easily be a top-five player because he’s exceptional.”
