And now current United stars Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard have been photographed wearing the original kit from that famous night in Barcelona.

The pair will reportedly be recreating Solskjaer’s famous injury-time winner against Bayern Munich in the ’99 Champions League final as part of an upcoming feature for BT Sport.

But after what was an underwhelming season from the Red Devils, some fans on social media are finding it difficult to the summon their enthusiasm.

Rashford wasn’t even two years old when Sir Alex Ferguson’s side completed their famous treble 20 years ago, while Lingard would have been just five.
