Marcus Harness gives early verdict on time at Ipswich Town so far | OneFootball

Ipswich Town have made a fine start to the campaign this year and Marcus Harness sounds as though he is loving every minute having arrived from Portsmouth.

The Tractor Boys already had a decent squad going into this season but added to it over the summer in some style with the arrival of Harness, who has often been one of the best players in League One over recent years.

Indeed, he will be looking to help the Portman Road club achieve their aim of getting back into the Sky Bet Championship by the end of this year, and there’s no doubting that he’s a player that has it in him to lead the club to promotion.

Ipswich fans have evidently been impressed with what they have seen, too, with him being voted by them as their latest Player of the Month, and Harness took to Twitter to express thanks for the votes and also reveal how much he’s enjoying his time in Suffolk so far:

The Verdict

When Harness joined Ipswich it looked like a really good signing and that appears to be coming to fruition already with the start he has made.

There may well be some dips and difficult moments ahead for the club over the course of the season but they have it in them to keep this good start going, and that will be the plan in the months ahead.
