Marcos Leonardo refuses to play in Santos match with Fortaleza

Roma target Marcos Leonardo is trying to force a move out Santos after the Brazilian side refused to satisfy his transfer request.

Talks for the 20-year-old attacker have stalled ever since Santos declined Roma’s offer of €18 million (including bonuses).

According to Brazilian news portal Lance, however, Leonardo has taken this decision very badly and is now trying to force a move by not making himself available to Santos’ management.

Moreover, Leonardo did not travel with the rest of the team earlier today for their away game with Fortaleza.

Leonardo continues to refuse to train with Diego Aguirre and his men.
