Marco Silva confidently name-drops two players who could join Everton

In the modern age of twenty-four hour news and instant social media chatter, the football world tends to remain tight-lipped on everything. Especially transfers.

However, Everton boss Marco Silva has been upfront when pressed on the Toffees targets.

While Brazilian forward Richarlison has already been spotted on Merseyside attending his medical, the Blues are also interested in doing a deal for Barcelona left-back Lucas Digne.

Far from being coy, Silva named both players in an interview and gave a strong indication he is confident the duo will be Everton players by the time the transfer window shuts.

“There are two possibilities, I will not hide,” he told Sport TV. “These are strong hypotheses.”

“Richarlison is an excellent player and Digne is not by chance where he is.

“Hopefully, it’s not easy.”
