Marco Silva admits Bešić and Dowell are playing for Everton futures | OneFootball

Marco Silva has revealed that Muhamed Bešić and Kieran Dowell are both playing for their Everton futures.

Bešić and Dowell were loaned out to the Championship last season, with the former joining Middlesbrough and the latter spending time with Nottingham Forest.

However, despite both impressing, they face a fight to impress their new manager who will look to challenge for a European place in the upcoming season.

“I did my analysis, but it is my obligation to be fair with all the players too,” he told the Liverpool Echo. “After analysing them I can start to take my decisions on them.

“Of course some of them were on loan last season. Bešić was one of them, Kieran as well – and some more. You need to be proud to play for us, to wear this shirt.

“But now is the moment for me to see all of them in training sessions daily, and in the games as well because sometimes that is different than in the sessions.”
