Marco Reus on joining Borussia Dortmund over Bayern Munich: “It was the club my heart drew me to.”

Speaking to Bild, Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus discussed his decision behind joining BVB from Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2012 despite an offer from Bayern Munich and other elite clubs.

“The request came, as did from other clubs. I have the greatest respect for Bayern Munich and what the club has been doing for decades. But I always wanted to play for BVB. It was always the club my heart drew me to.”
