After three years in Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt, Marco Fabián made a surprise move to Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union in February.

Despite being just 29 years old, Fabián is already talking about the end of his career, and where his final days could be spent.

“Yes, why not, I’ve always said it (that I could retire at Chivas),” Fabián told Jorge Ramos.

“I arrived at Chivas at the age of seven, it is a club that I love very much.

“I do not know what could happen. For the moment, I do not want to go back to Liga MX.

“You do not know what can happen. It’s possible that I finish my career in Philadelphia.”

On the other hand, Marco Fabián explained why he accepted the challenge of playing in Major League Soccer.

“In Mexico, I played for many years and I look for new adventures with which I can leave a legacy.

“It’s a different case, I’m not playing in an elite league, if I am being honest, but that’s what I have come for.

“I want to showcase myself as best I can and help the players and the league grow to the level that MLS aspires.”
