Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is set to miss out on tomorrow evening’s Coppa Italian quarterfinal match against Atalanta through injury.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the 30-year-old is yet to fully recover from the calf problem which has kept him out of the Nerazzurri’s last few matches and that he will not be in the squad to face La Dea.

Brozovic has missed out on all of Inter’s matches since the return from the winter break at the start of this month whilst recovering from a calf injury that he picked up in training after the World Cup.

There had been some hope that the Croat would be fit enough to play against Atalanta tomorrow, but this looks to be very unlikely.

According to Sky, Brozovic left training earlier than his teammates today, and is not likely to be fit to be in the squad tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Nerazzurri captain Samir Handanovic is also anticipated to be out of the squad for tomorrow evening’s match by Sky.
