According to Leipziger Volkszeitung, 29-year-old RB Leipzig defender Marcel Halstenberg is on the verge of joining Borussia Dortmund.
With 12 months remaining on his RB Leipzig contract, no financial details have been given but it’s been suggested for much of the summer transfer window that Halstenberg will make the switch to Borussia Dortmund.

Eight days remain in the transfer market for BVB to reach an agreement but it could also depend on the future of Nico Schulz (28), who started at left-back in both of the Bundesliga fixtures this season.
