Theo Hernandez’s agent has travelled to Italy to meet with the AC Milan directors and to discuss the future of his client, a report claims.
As Marca write, Theo’s deal runs out in June 2026 and this naturally leads to talk about his future. His agent – Manuel García Quilón – is scheduled to meet with Milan’s directors in Italy to learn first hand about their plans.
Theo arrived at Milan in the summer of 2019 and has already played 174 Serie A games, with 29 goals and 26 assists to his name. This season he has played in 12 games (having been dropped last night), but has struggled under Paulo Fonseca so far.
The report adds that Milan are not considering an immediate sale for Theo, who remains a key player. However his place last night was taken by Alex Jimenez, another ex Real Madrid man who was among the better performers in a poor game.
The truth is that Milan’s ownership never close the door on the idea of making big sales, although their idea is to make a strong team with which to compete and repeat the success of winning the Serie A in 2022. They know that Theo – along with others like Leao and Reijnders – represent main assets.
