Seldom-used Bayern midfielder Marc Roca has been linked with a loan move away to Barcelona ever since Xavi took over but it appears that the 25-year-old will be staying put.
According to Tz, Roca will not be leaving the club in the January window and is determined to make a name for himself under Julian Nagelsmann.
Though he did not see the pitch at all until November, Roca has appeared in Bayern’s last two Champions League contests and in their last three Bundesliga matches as well.
Despite being behind both Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka in the pecking order, Roca has started and impressed in Bayern’s last two games, making just his third and fourth Bundesliga starts of his career.
Last month, Roca said he was thriving under Nagelsmann and claimed that he’s in the best form of his life.
“Physically I’m in the best phase of my career so far. I’m eager to participate, to help the team, to see if I get the opportunity. I’m always ready and training hard,” Roca told Radio Marca.
