Marc Roca is delighted with his first months at Leeds United.

The 25-year-old has had an excellent start to his Whites career after joining from Bayern Munich in the summer, scoring his first Premier League goal against Brentford and has been one of the best new signings of the Jesse Marsch era so far.

When asked about what life was like in Leeds compared to back home in Spain as well as Germany on the Official Leeds United Podcast, Roca replied: "To be honest, I'm very happy here, playing in Leeds, playing for such an amazing club.

"I share these times with my teammates, the coaching staff, everyone at the club and it's really incredible and I'm very happy.

"Yeah, it [Moving from Spain to Germany in the past] was hard because it was with the pandemic, with Covid, and in the first few months in Germany everything was closed.

"You couldn't go out to eat, go to a cafe for a coffee but after that, it was ok. But now here in Leeds, I'm very happy, I'm playing well, I'm enjoying my football."

Roca then spoke about what people had told him before coming to England and what the Premier League has been like so far for him.

"Before, people said to me about the rhythm of the Premier League, how hard the league is but I think we did a very good pre-season. We had training every day, as hard as possible, we were doing everything that we can.

"I really think that we're ready to show everybody that we can play, we can fight, we can win games really well and to be honest, with my teammates, everything is easier."
