Many people at Inter are convinced that the form from last season will be back very soon and the current form is only temporary, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, there is a belief within the club that is perhaps not matched by those outside that the form is not a serious issue at this stage.

Inter have taken 12 points from their first seven games in Serie A which leaves them five points adrift from the top of the table.

The Inter hierarchy have been clear to Simone Inzaghi that his job is not under threat but improvements will need to be seen sooner rather than later.
