Manuel Neuer has been part of some very successful and exciting teams throughout his career.
From a Schalke team which reached the Champions League semi-final to a Germany outfit which won the World Cup and an all-conquering Bayern treble winning team between those, he’s had a good time of it over the last decade.
But he has now revealed why the current Bayern side he’s starring for actually tops the lot.
“Winning the Club World Cup in 2013 was a great experience and we want to repeat that again,” he told the club’s 51 magazine.
“As Champions League winners, we want to make more history again with this title. It is an opportunity we have to seize.
“For me personally, I have never experienced such a cohesion in a team and I’ve been involved in football for quite a while.
“We push each other more than ever before because we have to unleash these great forces from within even more.”
Bayern will have a chance to add even more silverware to their trophy cabinet in Qatar in early February when they take part in the Club World Cup.
