Roma could choose to revolutionize the squad already in January.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Friedkins are threatening to blow up the roster in the upcoming transfer window given Roma’s historically bad first half of the season.
The newspaper claims the position of several players within the club is compromised with the likes of Dybala and Pellegrini also deemed touchable and up for sale.
Moreover, the old guard such as Gianluca Mancini and Bryan Cristante appear to be the main targets of the Friedkins’ wrath.
Mancini, excluded “because he is tired” despite being suspended for tomorrow’s Coppa Italia: he was the target of Ranieri who reproached the team for not having placed “a defender on the attacker” on the occasion of Gabrielloni’s decisive goal on Sunday against Como.
Similarly, Cristante’s future will be evaluated as the midfielder is no longer a crucial presence in the team’s midfield.
