Manchester United have confirmed in an official announcement that new signing Leny Yoro (18) has undergone successful surgery for a foot injury. The former Lille defender suffered a foot injury during a friendly match against Arsenal in the Red Devils’ preseason tour of the United States.

Yoro’s surgery was a success but this is the beginning of his rehabilitation period. United have confirmed that they expect the France U21 international to still be out for a period of three months and miss the early part of the Premier League campaign.
