Manchester United’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup fourth round tie at FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division club Bridgwater United on Sunday is now officially a sell-out.

The third tier club have recorded a steady stream of ticket sales in recent weeks and Bridgwater United have this evening confirmed that the game is now sold out. Fans who have not been able to purchase tickets are encouraged not to go to Fairfax Park on Sunday as no further tickets will be made available.

The fixture promises to break the previous record attendance of 1,112 at Fairfax Park, a record which has been standing for almost 25 years. That crowd was recorded for a local derby between Bridgwater Town and Taunton Town back in February 1997. While Bridgwater has been hit by ‘cup-fever’, a number of Manchester United fans are set to make the mammoth trip to Somerset to witness one of the most fascinating ties of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup’s fourth round.

Manchester United are aiming to reach a first Vitality Women’s FA Cup final this season. The Red Devils are already into the semi-finals of this season’s FA Women’s Continental League Cup while they are well-placed to qualify for Europe in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League.

This weekend’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup fourth round tie sees Manchester United come up against the giant-killers of the third round. Bridgwater United saw off second tier side Crystal Palace 1-0 at Fairfax Park in the last round before Christmas.
