Manchester United’s Eric Bailly in contact with Al Nassr | OneFootball

Goal journalist Marc Mechenoua is reporting that Manchester United’s Eric Bailly (29), who spent last season on loan at Olympique de Marseille, is in discussions with Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr.

Should he make the move, he would link up with former Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, with whom he has a close relationship. Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Al Nassr’s approach, adding that Fulham, as well as Saudi rivals Al Ettifaq, have asked enquired about a deal for Bailly. Bailly is expected to make a decision on his future soon, with the expectation that he will leave Manchester United this summer.

Bailly’s loan spell at Marseille last season didn’t work out for either party. Due to injuries, poor form, and a lengthy suspension for a heavy challenge in a Coupe de France tie, the Manchester United loanee failed to cement his place in Les Phocéens lineup, and as a result, the Ligue 1 club didn’t show an interest in making the deal permanent.
