Werder Bremen have confirmed the permanent signing of Manchester United’s Isak Hansen-Aarøen.
The 19-year-old makes the move to Germany after over three years with United, where despite impressing in youth teams, he failed to make a first-team appearance.
United had hoped to keep the Norway U21 international, whose contract was out in the summer, but there was an alleged significant difference in wage expectations.
In order to receive a reasonable fee, they have decided to cash in now and the deal reportedly contains several clauses, including a sell-on fee.
Hansen-Aarøen will now be hoping to make his mark in the Bundesliga, where Bremen are currently in ninth position.
