Ruben Amorim handed major injury boost in attempt to continue winning run
Manchester United have decisions to make over a number of key players ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
United beat FCSB 2-0 in the Europa League on Thursday evening to make it four consecutive wins under Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils host Palace on Sunday aiming to move up the Premier League table and have been boosted by Luke Shaw’s return to training.
Still, United are unlikely to rush the England international back into action given how long he’s been out.
“When I feel it is the right moment, we will start with some minutes in the games,” said Amorim on Friday.
Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo both started on the bench in Romania, although they both came on in the second-half. Garnacho was suffering with illness, while Amorim confirmed Amad was “on the limit”, having played so often in recent weeks.
Andre Onana is expected to return in goal, while Marcus Rashford’s first-team exile is likely to continue.
Mason Mount and Jonny Evans are injury doubts for United.
