The 25-year-old striker joins the Reds after spending the last two seasons with West Ham United, while internationally she has eight caps for her country after making her senior debut in March 2020.

Martha Thomas said: “I’m excited to be joining Manchester United, I’ve been impressed with the success the club has had over the last few years and that was a real drive for me to come here. I want to be enjoying my football again and I’m looking forward to challenging myself in this environment and being part of an attacking team where I can express myself. My focus right now is on settling in and putting in the hard work at training, but I can’t wait for the season to start and to see all the fans back in the stadium.”

Football Director, John Murtough, said: “We are delighted to have secured another fantastic signing in Martha. She is an exciting young striker who has shown her talent at both club and international level. Martha is a real threat in front of goal and will bolster our attack ahead of next season. We are looking forward to seeing her make her mark at United.”
