Manchester United are considering including Joshua Zirkzee in a bid to pry Victor Osimhen from Napoli, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports. The Nigerian has long been linked with Saudi Arabia, but he would prefer to move to the Premier League.

Despite Al Hilal’s considerable effort to get the striker to the Saudi Pro League, Osimhen has reportedly very little interest in a move. He is determined to continue his career in Europe. Last season, Osimhen was loaned by Napoli to Galatasaray, but this summer he will return to the Italian champions.

The Nigerian has a buyout clause of 75 million euros in his contract, and the club’s management aren’t prepared to let him go for less.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Al Hilal spoke to Osimhen’s entourage again on Monday and a breakthrough in negotiations will have to be made very soon to get him eligible to play for the Club World Cup. It seems unlikely that the striker will make the move to Al Hilal before the tournament, as he is taking his time to decide on his future.

The Italian outlet suggests that, ‘Osimhen’s dream is to play in the Premier League’. Manchester United have not yet made contact with Napoli, but the English are studying whether his arrival is feasible. Among other things, there is talk of a bid, in which Zirkzee has to go the other way. It is not known how much Man United are prepared to pay for Osimhen.
